LEGAL
AML & KYC Policy
Quok88 operates an Anti-Money-Laundering and Know-Your-Customer programme proportionate to its licence and the risks of the gambling sector. The structure below is the agreed shape of the public-facing summary; counsel will pin every clause before publication and before any jurisdictional licence goes live (the licence is parked pending product-first launch).
1. Introduction
Counsel will pin the regulator-alignment statement, the risk-based posture and the relationship of this summary to the internal AML programme.
2. Identity verification (KYC)
Counsel will pin the documents accepted at identity verification, the triggers that prompt standard KYC vs enhanced due diligence, and how account access is gated while checks are in flight.
3. Source of funds checks
Counsel will pin the source-of-funds threshold, the documentation we accept and the repeat triggers that prompt a fresh check.
4. Sanctions and PEP screening
Counsel will pin our sanctions-list and politically-exposed-person screening providers, the frequency of checks and our ongoing-monitoring obligations.
5. Transaction monitoring
Counsel will pin the transaction-monitoring rule set, the manual review process and the escalation thresholds that move a case into review.
6. Suspicious activity reporting
Counsel will pin the referral process to our Money Laundering Reporting Officer, the regulator reporting workflow and the tipping-off prohibition.
7. Record keeping
Counsel will pin record-retention periods, audit-trail integrity controls and regulator-access obligations.
8. Staff training and governance
Counsel will pin the staff-training cadence, role-based training tracks and the governance committee that owns the programme.
9. Contact our MLRO
Reach the Money Laundering Reporting Officer via /help/contact. Counsel will pin the direct MLRO channel and the regulator-complaints route post-licence.
